I received a lot from MAISS, and I've grown both professionally and personally from my interactions with others. Additionally, I was able to connect with more of the campus through MAISS by having a group that was already familiar with the campus and well versed in its opportunities.

Why MAISS:
It’s a welcoming community that provides tons of opportunities for professional development. MAISS was especially useful to me because, as a business major, I knew I wanted to have some type of background in tech, but I wasn’t sure how to go about it. MAISS is tailored to meet the needs of business students and tech students as well as a place to find mentorship and friends! :)

I had a lot of fun at MAISS's Fall Retreat, as well as during my time as a Winter Intern. Additionally, MAISS has connections with other ICS clubs as well as business-minded organizations. It's an amazing way to meet new people!

I got to meet so many passionate and driven individuals and they all motivate me to be better everyday. Because of MAISS, I was able to meet my wonderful mentor and he guided me to explore different career paths and always pushed me to try out new things. MAISS has provided me with a family that I can always fall back on whenever I needed help, and I want to give back by working hard this year to provide new members with insightful events and long lasting friendships. I hope to see you there!
