MAISS Internship

The MAISS Internship Program is a twelve-week program that aims to expose interns to the in's and out’s of being on MAISS Board, all while gaining professional and leadership experience. Interns will have the opportunity to learn about the roles and responsibilities of various board members through the shadowing of one of the following board members:
Vice President, External Affairs (2) 
coordinates company relations and all MAISS academic, social and professional events
Vice President, Finance
coordinates all MAISS fundraisers
Vice President, Marketing (2)
coordinates all MAISS marketing initiatives
Vice President, Internal Affairs (2)
coordinates MAISS Mentorship Programs

Minimum Requirements

  • Interested in applying for board for the 2018-2019 academic year
  • Official MAISS member
  • Graduating after Winter 2019

Responsibilities of a MAISS Intern

  • Complete all tasks assigned by board member
  • Attend one MAISS board meeting
  • Attend one MAISS board and intern bonding retreat
  • Attend weekly meetings with board member
  • Attend weekly intern meetings
  • Plan MAISS event with other interns
